** Cooling out the summer heat with IUFRO custom-made fans **
A booth was set up on one of the 22 bridges across the Cheonggyecheon, a 5.8km long stream, today to promote the up-coming IUFRO World Congress. Amidst the fast-paced surrounding, the booth was an exceptional sight attracting passers-by especially with its huge but adorable pair of mascots.
The publicity was meant to create awareness of the Congress among Seoulites and the media was also invited to give press coverage on the event. During the event, hand-held fans imprinted with the IUFRO Congress logo were generously given out to passers-by. The fans were instantaneously used to cool off the June summer heat.
